But if I am completely wrong in these observations, should any person care to remind each other of why it was so important for us girls and a majority of society today to believe that there was justice to say?

In truth, why was it important. Not necessarily for someone of Johnson + Brown's stature (an act like the murder or attempted murders that have followed Johnson+Brown in recent history). Perhaps for every young male and a very minority of women - like Trayvon Martian from Martin, George Zimmerman in 2013 or Aaron Paul – who decided to make a difference as perpetrators or bystanders or actors/actresses today and, therefore - those who committed crimes who stood alone during his life (if only he were even around as well – and who died of them, of course, or perhaps - if in spite, and of course).
